All about the WMF Peak 50 – 80 cups a day, 1 or 2 grinders

The Peak 50 is the WMF that can run two beans side by side, with a second grinder for a decaf or a single origin, and WMF rates it for up to 80 cups a day. It works from a 4-liter tank or, as an option, from a fixed water connection. The four versions differ in grinders, fresh milk and powder: pick one for black coffee and toppings, or one with Basic Milk for cappuccinos.

WMF's recommended daily output; 110 cups of hot water per hour (DIN 18873-2). A two-boiler concept keeps temperature stable.

How many people is it for?
WMF recommends up to 80 cups a day. At about 3.3 cups per person per working day, that is around 24 people. Size up if everyone drinks at the same moment.

Which of the four versions do we need?
Two grinders with Basic Milk for a second bean and cappuccinos; one grinder with chocolate and Basic Milk for coffee, milk and hot chocolate; the topping versions for black coffee and powder-based drinks.

Tank or fixed water connection?
The 4 l tank needs no plumbing. With the fixed water connection set the machine is fed from the mains, so nobody refills. Tell us what is there when you ask for a quote, so we can check the setup with you.

How much daily care does it take?
Run Click+Clean every day, with hot water and steam and no chemical tablet. Once a week, or after 250 cycles, the machine runs Clean in Place automatically.
