All about the WMF 1500 S+ – 180 cups a day, plumbed in

The 1500 S+ is the first WMF in our range that comes plumbed in as standard, with a fixed water connection and drain, and WMF rates it for up to 180 cups a day. Dynamic Coffee Assist adjusts grind and quantity of the espresso drinks to the chosen strength, and the 10-inch touch display shows images and videos of your menu. The base model pours with Basic Milk and has a Basic Steam wand; Easy Milk or Dynamic Milk can replace Basic Milk in the configuration.

How many people is it for?
WMF's spec table gives up to 180 cups a day. At about 3.3 cups per person per working day, that is around 55 people. At peak times count on 124 cappuccinos per hour, or 194 when made two at a time.

Which milk system do we need?
Basic Milk for hot milk and hot foam. Easy Milk adds cold milk. Dynamic Milk adds cold milk foam and several foam consistencies, and is the version that takes the 2-Milk option and AutoClean.

What do we need on site?
A water connection, a drain, power and 32.5 cm of counter. Tell us what is there when you ask for a quote, so we can check the setup with you.

How much daily care does it take?
The base model uses Plug+Clean: hot water and steam clean the milk system, and the milk foamer is cleaned by hand once a week. With Dynamic Milk, AutoClean cleans coffee and milk system automatically at the set time.
