All about the JURA W8 – compact, with milk system

The W8 puts 17 specialties, cappuccino among them, in the same 29.5 cm wide body as the black-coffee W4. Its fine-foam milk system draws from a container next to the machine, and the Coffee Eye helps place the cup under the right spout. JURA recommends it for up to 50 cups a day: a small office, an agency or a meeting room where some people want milk and others don’t.

Frequently asked questions

How many people is the JURA W8 for?
JURA recommends up to 50 cups a day. Counting about 3.3 cups per person per working day, that is a team of around 15 people. Check your peak too: if everyone takes a coffee in the same ten minutes, size up.

Is a milk cooler included?
No. The W8 comes with a milk pipe with connector; a JURA Cool Control keeps the milk cold next to the machine and is a separate item.

How does the W8 differ from the W4?
Same 29.5 cm footprint. The W4 makes black coffee only; the W8 adds a fine-foam milk system, the Coffee Eye and 17 specialties.

Who keeps it clean, and how long does it take?
Your team can do it without a cleaner. Daily: empty the grounds container and the drip tray while the machine is switched on, and top up the tank with fresh water. After milk drinks, run the milk system cleaning with the supplied cleaning container. When the machine asks for it, roughly every 180 preparations, run the cleaning program with a JURA cleaning tablet. Change the CLARIS filter when the machine signals it; with the filter in use you do not need to descale.
