The JURA GIGA W10 is the professional JURA that combines two grinders with cold extraction: every one of its 35 specialties can also be made as a cold brew, from either of two beans. It is built for quality rather than volume, at up to 50 cups a day, in places where the coffee is part of how you receive people.
The JURA GIGA W10 comes in one version, with a 2.6 liter tank. It does not compete with the GIGA X8 on output; it competes on choice.
Our verdict
- Best at: a boardroom, a client lounge, an executive floor or a small, demanding team that drinks less coffee but cares about it.
- Right size for: a team of about 15 people. JURA recommends its GIGA W line for up to 50 cups a day.
- Pick something else if: you need volume (the GIGA X8 for two beans, the X10 for cold brew at up to 80 cups), or a fixed water connection.
- Plan for: a small grounds container, about 20 servings, and a 2.6 liter tank that needs topping up.
GIGA W10 or X10: the one question to ask
Both make cold brew. The X10 has one grinder, nine cold drinks among 34 specialties, a 5 liter tank and a rating of up to 80 cups a day. The GIGA W10 has two grinders, a cold version of all 35 specialties, a large 6.7 inch display and a rating of up to 50 cups. If the question is "how many people", the X10 wins. If it is "how much choice, and how does it look on the table in the meeting room", the GIGA W10 does.
What it makes, and how the cold brew works
JURA lists 35 specialties, and any of them can also be made cold, which doubles the menu. The cold versions use JURA's Cold Extraction Process: cold water pulsed through freshly ground coffee at high pressure, using the espresso method. It takes about as long as a hot coffee, with nothing prepared in advance. At our roastery we make cold brew by steeping coffee ground for filter for 12 hours; the machine version is a different, faster drink and should be tasted as such.
The water bypass adds water separately for long specialties, hot or cold, such as an americano, instead of running all of it through the coffee. JURA also offers an optional Cold Brew Nitro Kit.
Two grinders
Two electronically adjustable ceramic disc grinders with Automatic Grinder Adjustment (A.G.A.) each draw from their own 650 g bean container. Our Houseblend and our Colombia Sugar Cane Specialty Decaf, with a full body and low acidity, is the obvious pair; Houseblend next to our Seasonal Blend, fruitier and livelier, is another, for those who want more of an espresso-bar feel. A powder chute takes a dose of ground coffee for a single cup of something else.
When we install a GIGA W10, we set both grinders on site, starting with the 2 × 1 kg of Houseblend that comes with the machine, a full-bodied espresso blend with low acidity and notes of dark chocolate and cacao nibs. Tell us in advance what you want in the second container, so we can set it up during the same visit.
Settings and display
The 6.7 inch Panorama Coffee Panel with rotary switch shows the menu at a glance. For each drink you set the water quantity, the coffee strength (10 levels), the milk and milk foam quantity and temperature (3 levels), the brewing temperature (3 levels) and the hot water temperature (3 levels). Drinks can be positioned, duplicated and personalized, and the brewing unit takes 5 to 16 g per cup. Inside are two 15 bar pumps, two thermoblocks and two fluid systems.
Milk
The HP3 milk system with interchangeable CX3 milk spout switches automatically between milk and milk foam. The dual spout adjusts from 70 to 153 mm and the hot-water spout from 72 to 155 mm. Milk comes from a carton or a cooler next to the machine; a JURA Cool Control is sold separately. JURA recommends cleaning the milk system every day milk has been used and puts the time at about two minutes; it is automatic at one touch.
Living with it
The GIGA W10 is a premium machine with compact containers, and that shapes the routine:
- Empty the grounds container, about 20 servings, while the machine is switched on. At 50 cups a day that is two or three times.
- Top up the 2.6 liter tank with fresh water.
- Empty the monitored drip tray and run the milk system cleaning at the end of the day.
Rinsing, cleaning and descaling programs are built in, and JURA's hygiene is TÜV-certified. The CLARIS Pro Smart+ filter cartridge, cleaning tablets, milk system cleaner and a microfiber cloth are in the box.
Payment and connectivity
JURA supplies the Wi-Fi Connect transmitter as standard. Payment Connect and Pocket Pilot 2.0, for cashless payment and central machine monitoring, are listed as options. In a client lounge you will rarely need payment, but the day counter and the preparation count per drink help you see what is popular.
How many people is it for?
JURA recommends the GIGA W line for up to 50 cups a day. At about 3.3 cups per person per working day, that is a team of around 15 people. In a meeting area, count guests rather than staff, and remember that the grounds container and tank set the rhythm.

Buying a GIGA W10 through OR Coffee
OR Coffee is listed by Bodart, the Belgian JURA importer, as an approved dealer for JURA professional machines. You can taste and try the GIGA W10 before you decide, cold brew included: at our roastery in Wetteren, or at your place. Once you order, we deliver and install it, set it up with the 2 × 1 kg of Houseblend that comes with it, and do a tasting of our coffees with your team on site.
You can buy the machine outright, lease or rent it per month, or ask for a fixed price per cup that covers machine and coffee. We work out the formula that fits in the quote.

How we wrote this review
Every number in this article comes from JURA's official European product page for the GIGA W10 Diamond Silver (EA, article 15549), the pages of the X10 (15764) and GIGA X8 (15566) for the comparison, and JURA's workplace guide for the daily output, checked on 22 October 2026. The demo, installation, setup and tasting describe how OR Coffee sells and delivers these machines. Our own measurements (cup temperature, noise, time per cup) will follow; we will add them here and mark them as ours. For daily and weekly care, see our JURA professional cleaning guide.
